For The Record: The Art of a Song

Each student of the 3D Design Department at the School of Visual Arts was given a guitar to transform into an illustration of a song of their choice. Along with creating a piece for the show, I gathered and retouched music posters throughou history as vinyl posters for the walls, created the signage, drew the plans for the 6’ metal and neon guitar, and topped the exhibition off with 187 framed vinyl record wall. The back room had a red carpet surrounding the metal stands, and moves that I prepared to project on the walls of live concerts and experimental music from the 60s and 70s.
